Gearing up for Halloween
Hello Fans, Koda here again. Today is Wednesday, October 25, 2006 and I had to stay home with my sister today because Mom said that we behaved liked idiots at the store yesterday. That's fine because it gives me time to write my blog.

Well, Mom has been working really hard getting the store ready for the Halloween Party and that includes finding me a great costume. Last year at my Boston Terrier Meetup, I was Goofy but this year I am wearing a glow in the dark t-shirt that has a scary ghost on the back. It's way cool. Big sister Daisie is going to be a bumble bee…she looks good in that costume because she's on the chub side and fills out her costume well! (She's gonna kill me for writing that!) So, the photographer is going to be at the store from 1pm to 5pm and Mom is going to have bales of hay and pumpkins set up for the pictures. I hope my dog friends have been practising their tricks because there will be a "treat for a trick" and for the kids, bags of candy. I think it will be a fun day.

The only new thing in my life this week is my food. I now eat Eagle Pack Duck and Oatmeal and I love it. Mom says that she didn't think that my fur could have been any shinier or softer but apparently it is now. I know I'm a good looking guy but it's always nice to hear it from other people.

The next time you hear from me, I will have all kinds of stories to tell about the Halloween Party on Saturday as well as my adventures at the Montreal Boston Terrier Halloween Meetup on Sunday.

Koda out.

My very first entry
Hi everyone, Koda here. Well, this is my first entry to my blog and I'm really excited about it.
My Mom says that this is a family business and we all have to do our part so I'm in charge of publicity,
marketing and, as if I don't have enough to do, writing this blog. My big sister, Daisie, who is 14 years
old, is in charge of sleeping and eating cookies. Hmm, something's wrong with this picture…

Let me formally introduce myself.
My name is Koda-Maxwell Nolet and I just turned 3 on September 1st. I was rescued from a bad place
by my foster mom Debbie. She runs the Watchdog Committee and she is my angel. I love her with all
of my heart and she loves me so much that she took care of me until she found me a forever family.
My forever family came to me in June 2004 when I was 9 months old. Did I ever get lucky! I have a
Mom, a Dad and a big sister named Daisie. I have grandparents, Doreen and Hank, but I call them Nana
and Grand-Pere, cousins, friendly neighbors and 35 Boston Terrier friends. You see, my mom is the
Organizer of the Montreal Boston Terrier Meetup Group. She started the group back in October 2004
and she did it all for me! I get together with my BT friends once a month for fun and games. We have
a lot of fun chasing each other around and stealing each other's toys; it's what us BT's do best. Ok,
enough about me…oh wait, one more thing…I love to wear clothes, I hate the cold which means I hate
winter, I love cookies, especially the ones from the Boutique Woof! Meow! Bakery which my mom runs,
I love sleeping under the blankets between Mom and Dad and last but not least, I love smelly socks
more than anything in this world.

Mom says I need to write about at least one adventure I experienced in the week so I will pick the
best one; this week, I got to go to the CIBC bank with my Mom. The tellers love me there and Gerry,
the security guy loves me too. But, my Aunt Lynn who works at the bank loves me the most.
She has a secret stash of dog cookies in her desk drawer (not a secret anymore!) and she always gives
me one. So my big adventure this week was that I got loose in the bank and ran around like the crazy
dog that I am. It was fun and I got to see their kitchen, but then Aunt Lynn coralled me in by offering
me those secret cookies. It was great fun and I hope that Mom will bring me back again sometime soon.
She did say something about it not being such a great idea…wonder why?

If anybody wants to meet me, I can be found on most days at Boutique Woof! Meow! I'm the dude with
the West Coast Poochee t-shirt on.

Koda out.
